SLING Dissemination

SLING dissemination is part of the SLING Project.

We want to inform all the European users about the Biotechnology Databases enriched by the SLING Project, as well as the search methods available free of charge.
We invite you to file your results to the databases and provide you with the best tools to make this easily.
We present the published scientific information as well as the published patent information in a comprehensive and user friendly way.
lab
workshop Our presentations are tailored according to the experience of users working in Biotechnology in industry, research centres, universities but interest also students and people dealing with industrial property aspects.
We provide an extensive, high-quality training in the use of the biological databases and services.
We will design with you a program best adapted to your needs.
Where? We can organize a training event locally (e.g. in your University or Company or Information Centre) in many European locations.
Our training by the best specialists is provided free of charge.

About SLING

SLING is a three-year project - Serving Life-science Information for the Next Generation. Its goal is to make sure that advances in European Science are supported by the best possible biomolecular information, and that European scientists are optimally equipped to exploit it. To do this, SLING makes available a comprehensive range of databases and services from its five Partners: the European Molecular Biology Laboratory European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI), the Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics (SIB), the BRENDA database at the Technische Universität Braunschweig (TUBS), the European Patent Office (EPO), and Enzymeta GmbH. .
